Prepared? is built to need as little of your information as possible. This page explains what that means for the app and for this website.
The app
The Prepared? app is local-first. The details you enter, such as your household, the supplies you own, and where you keep them, are stored only on your device. They are not sent to us, and there is no account and no cloud sync in this version.
- We do not collect, receive, or store your household inventory or any personal data you enter.
- We do not track your usage or build a profile of you.
- Any backup you create stays under your control and does not come to us.
This website
This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies. If we use analytics, we use a privacy-respecting, cookieless measurement that does not identify you. If you email us, we use your message only to reply.
Your rights
Because the app holds your data only on your device, you are in control of it: you can edit or delete it in the app at any time. For anything relating to email you have sent us, contact us and we will help.
