Affiliate links
Last updated September 2026.
Prepared? is free, and its core will always be free. To help cover the cost of running it, some guides on this website may include a separate section called Where to get one, with links to products on Amazon.
What that means
As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. If you buy something after following one of these links, we may earn a small commission. It costs you nothing extra.
How we keep it honest
- Affiliate links only appear in a clearly labelled Where to get one section, kept apart from the guide itself. Every page that has one says so near the top.
- Our guides are written first and never rewritten to suit a product. They describe what helps; buying is always optional, and what you already have often does the job.
- Affiliate links never affect anything in the app that tells you how ready you are: your days figure, your readiness areas, or your list of next steps.
- We do not show prices, because they change and we would rather not show you a wrong one. Check the price on Amazon.
- Affiliate links are marked for search engines as sponsored.
Cookies
Our affiliate links are ordinary links. They do not run any code on this website and set no cookies here. If you click one, Amazon may set its own cookies on its own website, under Amazon's own cookie notice.
